Another blockbuster data breach as Ticketmaster the latest victim

ShinyHunters, a well-known black-hat group, claims to have bypassed Ticketmaster’s security measures, stealing the personal data of 560 million users. Despite no public confirmation of the incident by Ticketmaster yet, the hacking group intends to sell the stolen data for $500 million. The information includes full names, addresses, partial payment card details, and more. This could risk consumers to identity fraud and phishing. ShinyHunters has a history of large-scale attacks on companies and is currently under investigation by the FBI.
