Major cyberattack sees NHS London hospitals declare critical incident with operations cancelled

Two London hospital trusts have had to cancel all non-emergency operations and blood tests due to a major cyberattack affecting pathology systems. South London GP services and Synnovis, the company that supplies blood tests and other services for NHS patients across six London boroughs, have also been hit by the ransomware attack. NHS England has declared a level three incident and the National Cyber Security Centre is now involved in the situation.
