London Hospitals Affected by Ransomware Attack on Partner

Medical equipment provider Synnovis was hit by a ransomware attack that affected several medical institutions in London, including King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. The incident has affected tens of thousands of patients and has prompted non-emergency pathology appointments to be cancelled. Synnovis is currently working to understand the impact of the incident and has issued an apology for the inconvenience caused.
