London Hospitals Hit by Cyberattack Affecting Blood Transfusions

Several London hospitals, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital, experienced service disruptions due to a ransomware attack on lab services provider Synnovis. The attack has significantly impacted the hospitals’ ability to deliver services, although emergency care remains available. The incident is the third ransomware attack on Synnovis within 12 months.
