Royal Stoke ‘constantly on alert’ for cyber attacks

Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford Hospital services face “very little” risk from a ransomware cyber attack similar to the one that disrupted services in two London Health Service (NHS) hospitals. NHS directors stated that the hospitals in Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent do not use the same system that was attacked and they constantly work with a team of cyber security specialists to prevent such threats.
