Hundreds of cancer patients hit by NHS cyber attack as thousands of appointments cancelled

A ransomware attack from Russian cyber criminals on a supplier of pathology services to London hospitals has forced the cancellation of cancer treatments, emergency operations, and c-sections. Over 200 emergency and life-saving operations were cancelled at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Foundation Trust and King’s College University Hospital. It’s believed the attack was carried out by Russian cyber crime group Qilin.
