NHS blood stocks running low after ransomware attack

The NHS has urges O Positive and O Negative blood donors to act following a ransomware attack on Synnovis that has disrupted patient care in London. The attack has led to delays in surgeries and blood cannot be matched for patients as regularly as usual due to the IT systems at Synnovis still being down. Around 15% of all blood used in the NHS is from O type donors.
