National Records of Scotland data published in NHS cyber attack

Hackers have published data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS), acquired during a cyber attack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The NRS runs an administrative service for the health board that facilitates the transfer of patient records. The agency identified a few cases where sensitive data, involving less than 50 individuals, was on the network during the breach and has started to contact the victims.
