Hospitals grapple with aftermath of cyber attack
London hospitals, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital (KCH), are still dealing with the fallout from a ransomware attack on Synnovis. Services such as blood transfusions have been severely hampered, with blood tests that once took an hour now taking up to six hours. KCH is operating at about 70% capacity, with some operations cancelled and critical patients transferred elsewhere.
