Inside the hospitals held to ransom by Russian hackers

Russian hackers’ ransomware attack on major London hospitals has disrupted IT systems responsible for reporting patient tests, potentially taking months to fully recover, according to insiders. NHS trusts have been forced to call off non-emergency procedures. The commercial supplier Synnovis, which provides systems for labs and GP services across six London boroughs, is also affected.
