FTC warns companies to secure consumer data from Log4J attacks

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has threatened legal action against companies that fail to protect customer data from Log4J attacks. The FTC stated it would use its full legal authority to enforce compliance and urged businesses to follow the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)’s guidance on mitigating Log4J flaws. This warning comes after an active exploitation of the Log4Shell bug.
