NHS hack warning issued to everyone in Dumfries and Galloway

NHS Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland has warned residents to assume that some of their health data may have been published online following a February ransomware attack. The health board confirmed that children’s mental health data was among the published information. It plans to contact high-risk patients individually and has advised residents to report any suspicious contact attempts. The impact of the breach is expected to be significantly larger than initially estimated.
