NHS cyber attack leaves patients at risk of extortion

Three terabytes of personal details of NHS patients and workers, including X-ray results and complaint letters, have been published by cybercriminals. NHS Dumfries and Galloway have reassured the public that their IT systems are secure and have launched an investigation with Police Scotland, the National Crime Agency, the National Cyber Security Centre and the Scottish Government.
