Microsoft Warns of Continued Attacks Exploiting Apache Log4j Vulnerabilities

Microsoft has warned that attempts to exploit the Log4j cybersecurity vulnerabilities to deploy malware continue, with exploitation attempts remaining high in late December. Attackers are adding exploits to their existing malware kits, and multiple weaknesses discovered since the Apache Log4j 2 vulnerabilities were disclosed have provided new opportunities for a wide range of attacks. Microsoft advises continuing vigilance and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission has warned companies they must take measures to protect consumer data.
