Operations and appointments still being cancelled after NHS cyber attack

Two weeks after a cyber attack on Synnovis, hundreds of surgeries and appointments continue to be postponed at two NHS trusts in London, UK. The number of rearranged planned operations fell by 494 in the week following the attack, but missed outpatient appointments rose by 394. The attack, believed to have been carried out by Russian group Qilin, significantly affected Synnovis’s capacity to report and process blood tests.
