Data from NHS cyber attack that cancelled operations ‘published online by criminal group’
A cyber criminal group, believed to be Russian group Qilin, attacked Synnovis, an NHS provider of pathology services on blood tests, on June 3. They published almost 400GB of data, including patient names and blood test details, online. The attack led to hundreds of operations and appointments being cancelled across southeast London.
