Hackers claim patient names and data published on dark web
Russian hackers believed to have links to President Vladimir Putin have claimed to publish patient data from NHS hospitals on the dark web. The cyber attack on Synnovis, a pathology services provider to London hospitals, led to the postponement of 1,100 operations. Reportedly, the Qilin hacker group has shared around 400GB of data, sparking fears about patient confidentiality breaches.
