NHS cyber-attack: Boy, 14, has cancer operation postponed

Planned surgeries for hundreds of NHS patients, including a 14-year-old boy with cancer, have been delayed due to a recent cyber-attack on blood-testing company Synnovis. The ransomware attack disrupted blood-testing procedures at several London hospitals, preventing the company from sharing critical information about patient blood supplies. The attack has led to the delay of 134 procedures, including over 180 cancer surgeries and further 2,194 outpatient appointments.
