Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’
Synnovis, a pathology service provider, fell victim to a cyberattack by the Qilin group on June 3. The incident led to numerous cancellations of operations and appointments. The attackers reportedly shared almost 400GB of data, including patient names and descriptions of blood tests. NHS England, Synnovis, the National Cyber Security Centre, and the National Crime Agency are cooperating to identify the stolen data’s content.
