Data from NHS cyber attack ‘published online by cyber criminal group’

Synnovis, a pathology services provider, fell victim to a cyber attack, with hackers claiming to have captured and published 400GB of patient data, from names and DOBs to treatment details. The attack, reportedly by Russian group Qilin, has resulted in hundreds of hospital appointments and operations being cancelled. Authorities are investigating the attack and have established a helpline for patients.
