NHS cyber attack update after blood tests unable to be carried out and operations postponed

Cyber criminals have leaked almost 400GB of stolen data from UK’s National Health Service (NHS) provider, Synnovis, on the dark web. The group which goes by the name Qilin has been attempting to extort money from Synnovis since they hacked the company on June 3. The leaked information reportedly includes patient names, dates of birth, NHS numbers and descriptions of blood tests.
