NHS cyber attack data taken from Synnovis system, provider confirms

Synnovis, a firm that provides blood tests for NHS services, has confirmed a cyber attack conducted by Russian group Qilin led to stolen data being published online. The attack resulted in hundreds of operations and appointments being cancelled. The full extent of the breach is unknown, but compromised data include patient names, birth dates, and blood test descriptions.
