Real patient data was leaked by cyber criminals, NHS England confirms

Laboratory company Synnovis confirmed hackers published patient data in the cyber attack it suffered. The attacker, Qilin, claimed the data was from NHS patients. Though an investigation has been launched, it’s too soon to tell who or what has been impacted. In response, Synnovis is analysing the published data, and a helpline has been opened for people affected.
