Surgeons to work during junior doctor strike at London hospitals hit by cyber attack
Surgeons at London hospitals hit by a Russian cyber attack will be allowed to cross the picket line to prevent drug treatment delays during an upcoming five-day strike by junior doctors. The British Medical Association announcement comes weeks after Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and King’s College London NHS Trust were targeted by Russian hacking group Qilin. Hundreds of operations and appointments have been cancelled since the attack. The strike was called in a dispute over pay.
