South east London appointments delayed due to NHS cyber attack
A June ransomware attack by Russian cyber gang Qilin on pathology services provider Synnovis has disrupted hospital services, leading to 3,396 outpatient appointments and 1,255 elective procedures being postponed since 3 June. The cyberattack has also seen Qilin share stolen data, including patient names, birth dates and NHS numbers, on its darknet site and Telegram channel.
