TeamViewer investigating intrusion of corporate IT environment

Software company TeamViewer is probing a possible intrusion of its internal corporate IT environment after discovering irregularities. The company, known for its remote access and remote control software, said there’s no evidence that the product environment or customer data is affected. The investigation comes after social media reports of multiple organizations warning of alleged nation-state attacks involving TeamViewer software. In the past, TeamViewer has faced attacks by alleged Chinese hackers.
