HC3 issues sector alert on high-risk vulnerabilities in Baxter Welch Allyn medical equipment

Baxter’s Welch Allyn medical tools have vulnerabilities that might lead to patient care impact or delay, warns Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3). A patch is available for one of the flaws but a software update will not be available until Q3 2024 for the other. Baxter claims no evidence of the flaw being exploited and plans to release a software update later this year.
