Fintech company Affirm says Evolve Bank attack exposed customer info

US fintech Affirm has confirmed a cyberattack on banking partner Evolve Bank led to the leakage of customer information. Although its own systems were unaffected, Affirm said it believed customer data was compromised, as the company shared details with Evolve for the issuance of its Affirm Card. Evolve, which suffered the ransomware attack in May, said that no customer funds were accessed. The full effects of the attack are still unknown.
