Thousands of hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack

Around 6,300 appointments and procedures have been postponed at UK hospitals due to a cyber attack on June 3 which targeted pathology services provider Synnovis. Although most services are operating at near-normal levels, pathology services are at 54% capacity. Stolen data, including patient details and descriptions of blood tests, has been published online.
