Oxford University professor warns of cyber attacks on NHS

A ransomware attack caused 6,000 procedures and appointments to be delayed in June in major London hospitals. Data from the attack on pathology services provider Synnovis was published online but there was no suggestion that a whole database had been stolen. NHS England also suggested there is a significant IT infrastructure weakness at some parts of the NHS.
