F1, WRC governing body discloses data breach

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the governing body for several motorsports including Formula 1, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to personal information via phishing attacks. The nature of the breach, the perpetrator, and the number of people affected remain undisclosed. The FIA has notified data protection regulators in France and Switzerland and implemented additional security measures.
