Angel One says no data leak after report claims 8 million users affected

Financial services firm Angel One has reportedly suffered a data breach impacting nearly 8 million customers. The breach, which supposedly leaked personal information and profit and loss statements of customers online, was claimed by the company to be an outcome of an incident in 2023 which did not impact the clients’ securities or funds. The number of customers affected by the previous breach was not disclosed.
