HealthCare.gov, the US federal health insurance exchange website, may have suffered a data breach with a claimed leak of the information of around 7,500 users’ personal details. The suspected threat actor calling themselves “HealthDontCare” claimed to have exploited site vulnerabilities and demanded an extortion fee. The information stolen was reportedly listed on the dark web. The veracity of the claim is as yet unconfirmed.
