Florida Health Department Hit by Ransomware Attack, Sensitive Data Released on Dark Web

The Florida Department of Health (DOH) was attacked by RansomHub, a ransomware group, resulting in the exfiltration and publication of 100 gigabytes of sensitive data on the dark web. Over 20,000 files containing highly sensitive information were leaked. The state has begun notifying affected patients and enhancing its security protocols to prevent future attacks.
