Bassett Furniture Data Breach Disrupts Manufacturing

Bassett Furniture Industries suffered a major cyberattack, which led to the shutdown of several systems and disruption of the company’s manufacturing processes. Although customer personal information was not compromised, the breach significantly affected operations and ability to fulfil orders. The company is actively working to restore affected systems and implement workarounds, but the recovery process is anticipated to disrupt operations. Bassett also reported a 17% YOY decrease in Q2 revenues due to the attack and is restructuring to address this.
