A Russian cyber gang is thought to be behind a ransomware attack that hit London hospitals

A Russian cybercriminal group known as Qilin is suspected of executing a significant ransomware attack on London hospitals. The attack, directed at Synnovis, a provider of pathology lab services for NHS hospitals, led to cancelled operations and appointments. The group reportedly leases malware to affiliates for attack execution in return for a percentage of ransom payments.
