Where Kamala Harris stands on health care issues

Vice President Kamala Harris will focus on expanding ObamaCare, pushing for stronger abortion rights, lowering drug prices and reducing healthcare costs as she seeks the Democratic presidency nomination. Although Harris’s previous health stances have been to the left of President Biden’s, their policies are largely aligned. However, observers noted that Harris is expected to be a stronger advocate than Biden. She has been especially actively promoting abortion rights, travelling the U.S. following Roe v. Wade’s overturning.
