Philips Confirms Healthcare-Related Vue PACS Vulnerabilities

Philips has disclosed multiple high and critical severity vulnerabilities in the Vue Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), used worldwide in healthcare for managing and transmitting medical images. The vulnerabilities could lead to unauthorized access to patient data, service disruption, and diagnostic information manipulation. Philips advises upgrading to secure versions and taking immediate action using their security advisories. However, many of these systems can be accessed via the internet, increasing the potential for remote exploitation.
