The Florida DOH is still struggling following cyber breach

A cyber attack on Florida’s health department has disrupted services and led to a breach of patient data. The attacker, named RansomHub, allegedly stole 100 gigabytes of data and has since released tens of thousands of patient files online. The online Vital Statistics system, which handles death and birth certificates, remains offline, causing delays for funeral homes. Investigations are ongoing.
