Enhancing medication inventory’s digital visibility
The Mayo Clinic treats over 200 cancer patients daily, however managing treatments is a problem due to a lack of digital visibility and manual processes. If hospitals had better digital visibility it would help in managing inventory, controlling costs, and reducing waste. Current systems could be helped by utilising technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID to automatically update inventory management, easing the workload and helping predict patient needs.
