HHS announces major new AI, cybersecurity and IT reorganization

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) plans to restructure to boost its strategies and policies in IT, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence (AI). Responsibility for these areas will be redistributed across three departments, with a revamp of titles and responsibilities. The reorganisation also includes the development of a Chief AI Officer and a Chief Data Officer.
