Google, Microsoft, Others Support U.S.-Based Spyware Lawsuits

Tech giants such as Microsoft and Google are aiding a lawsuit against Israeli spyware firm NSO Group, brought on by Salvadoran journalist Carlos Dada. Dada’s lawsuit was dismissed in a California Federal Court, as he was found to have no standing as a Salvadoran citizen suing an Israeli company in the US. These tech companies are arguing for Dada’s standing, as they have closer ties with the US government and have invested billions in product security.
