The NHS England cyber security operations centre is investigating a cyber attack on Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The incident, which occurred on 17 July 2024, was detected and terminated with no apparent data losses. The hospitals continue to function normally. This follows a string of cyber attacks on NHS operations, prompting a government proposal for a Cyber Security and Resilience Bill for better data supply chain protection.
