Acadian Ambulance says a cyber attack gained access to protected health information

A hacker group has gained access to the protected health information of Acadian Ambulance customers. Personal information potentially affecting millions of patients, including Social Security numbers and medical records, was stolen in a ransomware attack. An outside specialist has been hired by the company to investigate the incident.
