Qualys unveils first-party software risk management solution

Qualys, a provider of IT, security and compliance solutions, is expanding its risk management platform to enable AppSec teams to assess and manage risks associated with first-party software and its embedded open-source components. The new platform gives security teams continuous visibility into embedded open-source software packages and allows them to rapidly mitigate the risk of high-profile security issues by crafting custom detection and responses.
