NHS Ransomware Attack leads to extreme blood shortage

A ransomware attack on technology provider Synnovis has caused significant disruptions within Britain’s National Health Service (NHS), leading to a serious shortage of blood supplies. Despite reinstituting the Synnovis systems, blood supplies, particularly of O Group blood, are steadily declining. The NHS is thus urging potential donors to come forward immediately to prevent an unprecedented blood shortage that could endanger lives.
