No single technology is the perfect answer to pop health

Quality patient data is crucial to the running of efficient healthcare systems. Data analytics are essential in identifying population groups needing care, ensuring optimum delivery of that care. Interviewed recently by Healthcare IT News, Brandi Meyers, Vice President of Revenue Operations at MDClone, pointed out that population health represents a challenge to the reactive approach to healthcare, and requires more lifelong preventative measures. The relevant analysis of patient data in population health, she said, depends largely on efficient communication between all stakeholders, from clinicians and healthcare personnel to IT departments.
