Tenable Adds Ability to Prioritize Vulnerabilities by Threat Level

At the Black Hat USA 2024 conference, Tenable added a feature to identify IT environment vulnerabilities based on the threat they represent. The function analyses data to detect which vulnerabilities can be exploited. This information will then support prioritised patch creation and deployment. Tenable also developed seven categories for vulnerability and exposure risks. The introduction of AI technologies could soon make it easier to build, deploy patches and provide threat level summaries.
