Humans are Top Factor in Cloud Security: CSA Study

Misconfiguration along with inadequate change control and outdated software are the top threats to cloud computing, according to a report from the Cloud Security Alliance. It outlines how the human factor underpins several leading threats. Concerns over traditional cloud security issues have diminished, while data breaches no longer dominate among cloud security fears. In June, Thales also found that human error and misconfiguration were the top causes of cloud data breaches.
