Canberra Hospital’s all-electric building to open soon

The Critical Services Building at the Canberra Hospital, constructed by Multiplex, is set to open soon, consolidating many acute care services in one state-of-the-art facility. This eight-storey, 45,000 square metre building is the first all-electric hospital in Australia, operating on 100% renewable electricity, and has a 5 Star Green Star design rating, with features including heat pumps, solar shading, and a high-performing facade to optimise energy efficiency.
